Earn Money for Almost Home When You Shop at King Soopers

The updated King Soopers Community Rewards program has replaced the reloadable gift card system, and now it’s even easier to earn money for Almost Home Adoptions while you shop. King Soopers will donate a portion of purchases to Almost Home when you shop and swipe your King Soopers Plus Card (or provide your digital account number or Alt ID), and it won’t cost you a penny!

How it Works

1. Use your existing King Soopers digital account or, if you don’t have one, create one online. This is the account that is associated with your King Soopers Plus Card.
   For information about digital accounts, visit the Digital Accounts FAQ page on the King Soopers website. If you don’t remember the email address and/or password associated with your digital account, visit this page for help or contact the King Soopers Customer Service Center.

2. Log in to your digital account, then search for and select Almost Home Adoptions for Rescued Cats, Organization Number WH243, as the charity you wish to benefit from your purchases.

3. Every time you shop at King Soopers in store or online, swipe your Plus Card,  enter your digital account number, or enter your Alt ID. This is necessary for Almost Home Adoptions to receive donations from King Soopers for your purchases.

What’s the Catch?

No catch . . . really! There are no extra costs associated with this program. This is a way for King Soopers to encourage shoppers to patronize their store and also for them to support to non-profit organizations.

How Does Almost Home Adoptions Earn Money?

After you select Almost Home Adoptions as your charity, the shelter earns donations every time you shop and swipe your Plus Card or provide your digital account number or Alt ID. You no longer need to load money to a gift card, and King Soopers pays out over $2.5 million quarterly, divided between registered charities, with a cap of $125,000 per charity per quarter. It’s that simple!

Do Gift Cards from the Old System Still Work?

If you loaded money to the old gift card, that money is still available to you. However, as of April 1, 2019, Almost Home Adoptions no longer receives charitable donations if you load more money onto your gift card. This is why we’re encouraging everyone to use the new, simpler system instead.
